The '60s and social realism

In the 1960s, he lost interest in the open landscape and approached the object, reflecting on the function of his work. At this time he was an active part of the Macla-65 group, a movement of marked social realism. Characteristic works of this period are: Cap de negre, La cortina and La fam, the latter, lost in an exhibition against the Vietnam War in 1966, which is now at the headquarters of the Friends of the United Nations in Barcelona .

Many of the following works are black and white photographs. The original works, however, are in color.
